1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
1 1/4 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
this was good, we ate on it for several days even though i cut down the recipe. i'm not sure it's worth the trouble when you can by this stuff in a can, but i guess if you had all the ingredients on hand anyway . . .
