Directions

Combine the ingredients without ice and shake vigorously. Then just pour the mixture into your most festive margarita glass, garnish and enjoy a classic.

As a bartender I find making my own margarita mix to taste much better. Use sour mix, a splash triple sec, splash lime juice, and splash orange juice.

There are, for sure, many different styles of margaritas! You can't argue about the ingredients in this drink---they ARE classic. You just need to find the recipe you prefer. But for me---tonight---the eve of Cinco de Mayo---this was perfection!

I tried three Sauza recipes, fell in love with Sauza Tequila and this recipe was hands down the best one I tried. Don't substitute and enjoy responsibly.

I used Sauza Blue Tequila. This was delicious and was the favorite of the night! We squeezed a small amount of orange juice into it. Very good!
