This is a traditional Bahamian recipe that is made with conch, this wonderful shellfish that is delicious but so hard to find out from the Bahamas. 

Clam Chowder Tart

Crumbly bacon and sauteed onions are stirred into a cooked custard of clams, eggs, cream and nutmeg. This concoction is then poured into a pastry shell and baked. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Yummy hot clam dip. The clams aren't that noticeable, even for someone like me who is not a clam person. Delicious served on crackers.
