Honestly I thought these were just OK. As other reviewers said the dough is a bit bland. I made an icing to go on top and that helped. Followed the directions exact. Just OK for me.

Very good recipe. I made these using the dough setting on my bread machine. I would agree that the dough needs a little something. I mixed 2 cups powdered sugar, ¼ cup milk, and ¼ tsp vanilla extract. This made a wonderful, light icing. This is a recipe I will definitely try again.

These things were AWESOME!! My husband LOVES these and also suggested using the dough for pizza. He added more salt and less sugar, and ya know what? doubles as a good pizza crust too. IF you like fluffy crust on your pizza.

Great! And my daughter liked to gnaw on them, too!

Just right! I adapted it for my breadmaker by putting in wet ingredients first, then dry. Saved me some time! Not sure I twisted just right, make circles of a few for fun - but loved the recipe - simple sweet cinnamon - can't be beat!

We love this recipe. We add sugar to the filling when adding the cinnamon and it tastes like a delicious cinnamon roll. We make this often and it will always be a favorite here. Great recipe!

I do find that the dough is somewhat bland, but otherwise this recipe is very fun to make. For a little more decorative look, I twisted them and stuck the loose ends together to make sort of "knots". I would also suggest, if you let them sit for a while, heating them up a bit before eating, it enhances the flavor and, in the twist style, it softens them up. I will definitely try this recipe again!

I made this cinnamon sticks and my family was happy with the recipe. They are pretty easy, but dirty a lot of dishes and take about two hours total. However, the actual "dough" (not the filling) is pretty bland. Next time (yes, I will try them again), I will probably ADD some cinnamon to the actual recipe along with some other sweet spices like a little bit of nutmeg. Thanks for the recipe!

These were very tasty! Unfortunately, I'm not very good at rolling out rectangles or twisting little shapes, so they look a little weird. Otherwise, it was very fun to make, and it was worth the time.
