This bread is delicious. Be careful, it is very heavy, and you can taste a hint of egg in the final product. It does need the foil over the top to prevent excess browning on top. Mine came out with a very thick crust by the time it had been in long enough to cook in the middle.

This bread is amazing! Made 2 huge loaves and it is so tender and flufy. I did not change a thing. For me fluffy bread is everything. Thank you for a great recipe.

Great recipe. I weighed my flour and didn't need to add anything at mixing time. Everything was perfect. Nice soft tasty bread. The dough was easy to work with. I didn't roll the bread tight enough and there were gaps. Follow the recipe and roll tightly! A keeper.

Really easy to make. I made 4 small loaves (as not to eat it all at once). We ate a loaf hot out of the oven. Then my daughter requested it every morning for breakfast. I also gave one to a neighbor and they ate the whole loaf that night.

Holy cow! This is a 5 star recipe. It's fantastic. Only changes I made was cutting the recipe in half and using 2-1/2 cups flour. (It made a perfect 1.5 lb. loaf for me.) I was afraid to add 5 cups of flour to my machine and have it rise out of the top because I used my machine for everything. I did not melt the butter either, but used soft butter instead. The other change was my own premix cinnamon sugar recipe I keep in the kitchen at all times. This is a keeper. It makes perfect Cinnamon Swirl Bread as I remember it as a kid. Thanks for the recipe, Peggy.

I loved this recipe and so do the kids and hubby. Per another one's suggestion, I made one with chocolate. Didn't take much melted milk chocolate and it was so very yummy. Will definately make it again! Thanks!

Delicious! We like not using the icing, but toasting the bread.

Husband did not like this at all, but my son and I did, so it gets four stars. When checking it in the bread machine, it was not coming together at all, so rather than the 1-2 additional tablespoons of water the recipe called for, it took 4. It rose beautifully and has a nice texture. My only complaint would be the glaze...I didn't like the addition of the vanilla and will leave it out the next time.

I was going to bring these to Christmas Eve. Dinner, but they were so good we decided to keep them for our Christmas breakfast. I broke my bread machine, so I mixed it by hand and then kneaded it.

This makes a beautiful, loaf of cinnamon bread, even without the glaze. Also, I put all the ingredients, except the cinnamon mixture, in my dough machine to make a nice, slightly sweet loaf of white bread which came out terrific. We use it instead of buns for hamburgers. Thanks for a great recipe.

This is the first cinnamon bread I've found that's turned out, and I've tried a few. I used all purpose flour instead of bread flour, since that was all I had. Still turned out great!
