This recipe is a grand slam. Everyone I've made it for has loved it. It was even requested as a wedding party favor. I've also added a litted nutmeg and sometimes Frangelico, for extra flavor.

These are great! I do double the coating, and add some clear vanilla in place of the 2nd tsp water. There are several variations in the comments that I have tried and liked also. Tweaked or as is, this is a GREAT recipe!

I brought this to a potluck, and EVERYONE loved them! I decreased the almonds to 3 cups and added a bit a vanilla extract the second time around...all of the almonds were coated and sooo good!

Great recipe! Doesn't taste quite like the farmers market almonds that I love, but close enough! I doubled the coating and baked for an extra 25 minutes to make the almonds nice and crunchy! I will definately make this again!

I am so happy to have found this recipe! I love these nuts, but cringe at having to pay so much for them from the vendors at malls and events. It was so incredibly easy to make, and I will be making these for years to come! I think this would be great to give as a home-made gift, and I know they will impress my friends, family & co-workers! I followed the suggestion of other reviewers and doubled the cinnamon & sugar, and I used 5 cups of almonds because that's what I had on hand, and they came out perfect! Before I spread the almonds on the pan I put down a sheet of Reynold's Release foil so I wouldn't have to clean up a cooked on mess from my pan, and it worked famously!

These were very addictive to snack on. I followed the suggestions to double to "sauce" but next time I think I will maybe do 1 1/2 instead of completely doubling it -- just a little too much for me. I also followed a suggestion to add some almond extract -- loved it! I didn't have quite enough almonds so I added a cup of peanuts to get the nuts up to 4 cups. Tasted pretty good. I will be making this recipe again, and again, and again...

Three stars as written, because this recipe requires major tweaking in my opinion...there is not enough coating and the baking time or temperature is off. Either double the coating ingredients or use half the almonds. As for baking them, either increase baking time to get them really crunchy or increase oven temperature to 300 degrees. Still, worth trying again and tweaking till perfect.

This is my standard Sugared & Seasoned Nut Recipe. Great for gifts or for hoarding for yourself! I like using pecans as well as almonds and also like using pumpkin pie spice instead of plain cinnamon.

These almonds were fabulous! I made them for Christmas ahead of time and they definitely improved with age. Everyone I gave them to loved them. I will definitely make these again, perhaps replacing the egg white with maple syrup. I tend to use egg replacers quite often and I think that would work well here.

Wow these were super easy and really yummy! I made it according to recipe and thought they were really good, however I think I will add more cinnamon next time, and I might try the vanilla instead of the water as noted in other reviews. Thanks for the great recipe!!

I've read some of the reviews that alter the recipe with brown sugar, vanilla, etc., but I didn't think it tasted half as good as the original recipe! I made these and gave them away to neighbors and friends. They were a hit! Everyone loved them and wanted the recipe. They sell these exact almonds here for about $6.99 for just a small serving! Thanks so much for the recipe and for saving me money. It's easy and fun to make!
