This was tasty bread and pretty easy to make ... I didn't think of this until afterwards but this should be refrigerator IMO since it does have milk on the top for the frosting. I will make it again.

I made this and it turned out well although i did skip the glaze (it seemed a little too sugary for a bread..). My loaves came out it long rolls as a result of rolling up the cinnamon. That was okay though as they came out looks very yummy! For the person that said "what remaining sugar?" There's 2 sugar ingredients- one of them is four from the top the other two from the bottom. Hope that clears things up :) overall very yummy!

I made this last night, as per the recipe (except a few extra dashes of cinnamon and a bit of butter spread on before the cinnamon/sugar mix), and it turned out great! Lots of raisins, good cinnamon flavor, and a good texture in the bread. My husband and family loved it! thanks!!

I split the recipe in half so I could have one loaf of raisin and one loaf with chocolate chips. (My husband doesn't eat raisins.) I did everything the same except to split it, I dissolved the yeast and then divided it in half. Then I followed the half recipe and did everything twice. It probably took more time that way, but it worked out fine. The chocolate version is more like chocolate swirls, not whole chocolate chips since they melted during the rising for the most part. My daughter is one and a very picky eater. She at 1.5 slices of the raisin bread as soon as it was cool enough to eat. Really happy! Would make this again because it was sooo easy.

Easy and delicious. Made it twice - once with 1/6th cup of sugar in the dough and 1/6th cup of sugar in the cinnamon swirl mix and one with the recipe recommendations. Both came out great obviously one sweeter than the other. In both I added an egg for moisture. Added an 8th of a tsp of almond extract to the milk before adding. Great recipe, prep time and ready time are wayyyyyyyyyy off though. To the person who gave this recipe 1 star because they couldnt figure out how much sugar they wanted to use in the swirl - Shame on you!

Great easy recipe. For a different glaze try this. When I was a kid my mom made her glaze with a few drops of maple flavoring in it. Try it you'll like it.

This bread was a huge hit with my family and co-workers. I did out of habit change a few things. I buttered the dough before adding the cinnamon sugar mixture. I also drizzled honey over top of the cinnamon sugar mixture and for good measure I added about 1/2 cup of cinnamon chips. I also found after making a few batches that the amount of flour, 5 3/4 cups was just a bit much. Next time I will try to only use 5 1/4 cups. Fantastic! This recipe will definately be a keeper.

Followed this recipe as is, and it turned out great. Next time I will try to halve it, because 1 loaf is enough for me, but it was great without any changes.

Loved this bread. I actually subsituted 2 cups of the flour for 2 cups wheat flour and used dried cranberries instead of the raisens. I also mixed the cinnamon with brown sugar instead of the regular sugar and it was absolutely wonderful. This is a keeper. My family loved it!!!

Haven't made the bread yet, but others found fault with directions. I can't find any. Possibly second mention of sugar(1/2 cup) refers to brown sugar to mix with cinnamon. Hope this clears up the controversy. Will rate later, but am prerating at 5 *
