Soooo good and crunchy! Love that there is NO oil in this recipe....added some sliced almonds, pecans, 1/2c wheat germ, raisens and dried cranberries....also upped the cinnamon to 1 tblspn. and used honey in place of the corn syrup. Cant wait for my yogurt this morning....thanks!

My first attempt making homemade granola. It tastes great and is super easy! I used sugar free syrup as it was all I had.

Great recipe! I like to add a handful or two of raisins or craisins after it comes out of the oven for some fruity goodness too!

Excellent recipe! I used quick oats, honey instead of corn syrup, and peacans in place of the coconut. Very nice. I tripled the recipe and found that baking it on two cookie sheets for 30 minutes worked well. I will definitely make this again!

The taste was wonderful but the texture was off. I doubled the recipe because the recipe looked so good and had so many positive reviews. But the granola came out mushy, probably because the syrup and honey was melted on the stove. I put some additional raisins and sliced alomnds in the granola along with the walnuts, and then put it in the freezer for a little while. It helped a little bit, but it still was soft...good thing my family isn't picky! When I make this recipe again, I will not cook the honey and syrup on the stove so it melts to liquid and makes the granola mushy. Thanks though, I will try this recipe again. *UPDATE* Didn't melt the maple syrup and honey and added more rolled oats. Delicious! 5 stars now!

This was easy to make and is a yummy snack. I added craisins before the last 10 minutes of baking and it made the mix very tasty! this is great served with yogurt.

I was looking for a granola to sprinkle on my morning yogurt without paying the high prices at the supermarket. I substituted honey for the corn syrup and used almonds to replace the walnuts. I also sprinkled on wheat germ, sunflower seeds and pepitas (pumpkins seeds). It is a great recipe. Thanks!

I loved this recipe. I left out the walnuts and coconut and replaced the maple syrup with honey. I also added a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. I was very pleased with the results. Yum.

Really good--a nice crunch for my morning yogurt! I used honey instead of the corn syrup, and added a tablespoon or two of wheat germ and ground flax seed to make it a little healthier. I also threw in some chopped dried cherries. I did not cook it nearly as long as the recipe suggests--MAYBE 25 minutes, and it was quite crispy.

This was a very easy recipe to use. I did change this up a little. I doubled the maple syrup, cinnamon and coconut, ommitted the corn syrup, and added 2 heaping tablespoons of brown sugar. For fruit, I added a 1/2 cup of dried blueberries. I baked it for the full time and my taste-testers said it could've been allowed to cook longer, however, I felt like it was the right amount of chewy-crunchy for my taste. One suggestion is to use two large cookie sheets or pizza pans so that you can stir easily without accidently dumping some over the edge!
