I gave this recipe 4 out of 5 because it made eating a grapefruit in the morning much more bearable. Sweet and yummy and not to tart!

My coworker gave me about a dozen very tart grapefruits from his tree. They were going to go bad because they were too sour to eat on their own. I decided to see what recipes were on this site and came across this one. I followed the recipe exactly and added about a tablespoon of brown sugar on each half. I broiled it for 4 minutes and it came out perfectly. The sweetness definitely overpowers the tartness of the grapefruit. Yum-O!

Pretty good for something a little different. Either the honey or the baking really seememd to mellow the tartness of the grapefruit. This broiled perfectly in just 3 min with my broiler on HI. Thanks for posting this, it was fun making ( and eating) something new and different.

Not a fan of grapefruit but tried it any way. Didn't take much of the sour out.

We had these years ago at a bed and breakfast and loved them. I had forgotten about them until I found this. We used honey, cinnamon and brown sugar and they were great!

We tried this three ways, honey, brown sugar and gran. sugar. The honey won hands down. We are back to eating the fruit off our tree again. Thanks for sharing this simple recipe.
