I thought that this cake was wonerful. It tasted very delicious. My whole family loved it and insisted that i make it again sometime. To make it even more moist i poured about 3/4 cup milk onto it when it was done baking and put it back into the oven for five more minutes. This made it even more moist and delicious.

This is the best recipe for cinnamin coffee cake ever. It is best when followed as written. Tried the applesauce and it turned out to mushy. Also tried it with a cream cheese pudding mix instead of the butterscotch and didn't like it as well. The butterscotch gives it a different flavor that mixes perfectly.

Wow!!!!!! alot of the reviews say this tastes better 2 days later...it tastes awesome 10 min out of the oven, i can't imagine how good it's gonna get! i used what i had on hand..one pack vanilla pudding & one pack pumpkin spice pudding. threw in some dark chocolate chips and it is beyond delicious!! i wish i would have put more chocolate in it but then again, i'll definately be making this again. i'm sure using any flavor pudding will be equally awesome.

Ok..I made this Sunday Morning..it was a total flop..only one that would touch it was my 3yr old who will eat ANYTHING with cinnamon. It just tasted...odd. So it sat in the cake pan for 2 days. 3 yr old asked for some today (tuesday)..couldn't give it to her without testing it myself first...and WOW was is WAAAAAYYYY better two days later!!! 5 stars better. But I had to give it a 3 star based on the fact you have to wait 2 days for it to get good.

Wow! My husband asked me to make a coffee cake for his birthday and since I'd never made one, this recipe sounded doable. It was fantastic. The local supermarket didn't have butterscotch pudding, but they did have a pumpkin spice kind and I used that instead. I also used 3/4 applesauce and 1/4 oil. Hubby loved it and so did my son. We will definitely make this again!

So delicious! I should say the topping is not the usual crumb-like cofee cake topping I was hoping for. I need to find a good crumb topping recipe. The cake itself is fabulous. I used 2 boxes of Vanilla pudding. Thank you for this recipe!

Best coffee cake I've ever had. Will definitely make again sometime. It came out pretty moist in the middle (like a little too moist) cooking the last leg at 35 minutes: you might want to get closer to the 40 mark.

I didn't have any butterscotch pudding, so I used two packs of vanilla. Also, I used milk instead of water. Excellent recipe Janis!

Absolutely delightful! I've made it twice now and I've had a few people tell me it's their favorite dessert I've ever made!!! I bake a lot, so that is a huge complement! I'm memorizing this one!

OMG, I was surprised this was sooooo good, and very moist.I used what I had on hand.Butter Pecan cake mix and french vanilla instant pudding.I'm sure it's great with other flavors too.I also used a bundt pan (my slightly bigger one) and put half the batter, then half the cinnamon nut mixture on that.when I took it out of the pan I put it back right side up with the nut mixture on top.

Delicious! I followed some of the other reviewers suggestions and made 2 days before... only half made it to the brunch! It was wonderful. I did make some substitutions- I used 1/2 cup applesauce and 1/2 cup of apple butter in place of the oil, I used half splenda brown sugar and half regular and I used 2 boxes of french vanilla pudding because my boyfriend doesn't like butterscotch. Everyone raved about it.
