To clear the confusion for the crust, I think it's about 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs, or around 32 squares. Delicious!

I'm totally confused by the "24" crushed graham crackers. Too vague. I have made this recipe several times and had to tweek the crust. 24 gr. crackers is a lot of cracker crumbs, but 1/2 cup melted butter is a lot too. So could someone please figure this out? Love the recipe. I get many compliments. I guess I'll look up another cheesecake recipe to see if I can figure this one out.

This was an absolutely excellent recipe. I don't know how to cook, but this dish made everyone bow down and call me the queen of baking. :)

This is so good. I didn't even bother making the sour cream topping, it wasn't missed. Next time, I will add two cans of cherry pie filling on top.

I made this recipe exactly as written, but I had to improvise a little with the crust. "24 graham crackers" was a little confusing. In all the packs I've ever bought, they come in large rectangles, scored into fourths. I'm not sure if the recipe means 24 WHOLE grahams, or 24 halves, etc. I started out with whole ones, and I can tell you it was way too much for the size dish called for! :) Half the dish would've been crust! It looks thin in the pic, so I reduced the crumbs to what I thought would make a decent sized crust, and the result was amazing. I made this for my book club, and got rave reviews. Now that I think of it, I think I wound up using 2 cans of cherry pie filling! You can adapt this recipe with any pie filling you like, and the cinnamon in the grahams give it a yummy kick!
