I read several of the reviews before baking this loaf and took the advice given. I altered the recipe slightly to be 3/4 c white sugar and 1/4 c brown sugar. This worked out really well! I also doubled the cinnamon sugar crumble, layering dough>crumble>dough>crumble YUMMY!

a little bit too sweet, i'll have to cut back on the sugar next time but i doubled the topping recipe and used a knife to create the marbled cinnamon texture. finding an icing recipe to top it off would make this perfect.

I followed the recipe except for doubling the topping and putting half of it in the middle of the bread. My husband liked it...I thought it was okay.

I followed the other reviewer's suggestions but the topping needs to be tripled. It's an ok recipe (I gave it four stars anyway), but I doubt I'll make it again without trying other recipes first.

Super moist bread with great flavor. It was much better right out of the oven rather than the next day at room temp. I doubled the topping and mixed it through the bread.

Very good! I did cut the sugar down to 3/4 cup, however next time I will cut it down to 1/2 cup. I tripled the crumb putting half in the middle and the rest on top. The top was very crunch which everyone loved, however it overflowed in the over making it difficult to remove from the pan. Next time I will put it in two smaller pans or one larger. I also mixed the ingredients as specified in the other reviews. Note: used butter & olive oil to get rid of the trans fats! Sucanat or Rapadura also works good in this recipe in place of the white refined sugar.

Am I the only one who had trouble with the crumb mixture? I used cold butter and even tried adding some flour. Any of the "crumb" mixture that I swirled in the bread sunk to the bottom but what was left on top stayed on top. Good, though, overall.

This is a really nice quick bread! I think it has the right amount of cinnamon, however I did increase the topping by double. I sprinkled cinnamon-sugar on the sides & bottom of a greased bundt pan. I put half the batter in and put 1/2 of the topping mixture on and swirled it a bit and pour the remaining batter in and topped that off with the last 1/2 of the topping. The bake time was right on 50 min. in the bundt pan! My family really enjoyed this. I spread some "All Day Apple Butter" (from this site) on my slice and it was D-lish! THX.

This was easy and delicious. I used the milk and vinager, and it came out good. The topping threw me off a little because it was sticky and sunk into the cake, so I swirled the best I could.I definatley could have doubled the topping.

Very good. I diced an apple and added it to the top. I cut down the salt to 1/2 tsp, because the first batch I made was way too salty!
