Just made these cookies and they are to die for. They are absolutely delicious and easy to make.

These are great! I decided to make them instead of regular sugar cookies for Santa and I'm glad I did. However I did decide add 1/4 t. of almond extract. I also don't have a cookie press so I just rolled them and cut them with cookies cutters.

These are FABULOUS! I made them for a neighborhood potluck and they received rave reviews from all who ate them. As everyone says, I followed the recipe exactly except....I made my own blend of cinnamon and sugar for the top. I probably had about 3/4 of a cup of mix and ended up with some left after being very generous with the cookies. Instead of the chopped almonds I used slivered almonds and pressed them lightly into the top before baking. I also did not want to dig out the cookie press, so I just rolled the dough and used a knife to cut them into strips. I will defiantly be making these again!
