This was a pleasant surprise as it is reminiscent of a pot pie filling, but in soup form. Using homemade roasted veggie broth kept this a vegetarian option and topping each serving with shredded cheese kept mouths happy (always a bonus among my meat-eating crew).

Very good. Everyone in my family enjoyed this. I didn't have condensed broth so I used regular broth and added a bouillon cube for every 8 oz of broth -- seemed like that would be the same and it worked just fine. I generally prefer a bit more salt/seasoning, so I dashed some Tony Chachere's on top of my serving.

This is great! The only change I made is to use veggie broth since I'm a vegetarian. Excellent recipe!

I thought this recipe was great! It was so simple to make. The only problem I had was the thickness- it just wouldn't thicken up for me. I would suggest putting it through an immersion blender before serving it- that way it had a nice creamy texture.

This chowder is great. I made it for my family a few nights ago and now they are asking me to make more. Only thing I did different was to add 2 cups of smoked diced ham at the end. It was delicious. Thanks for the great recipe this will be with our family for along time now to warm us on the cold winter nights.
