Followed the direction, and add 1/4 milk, just don't understand how come so many people like this recipe. It was not good to me at all.

I was worried about the cottage cheese & sour cream because I make a more traditional mac & cheese, but I wanted to try something new. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! This was really good, & the entire family enjoyed it (even my picky eaters). I did use fat free sour cream & low fat cottage cheese but those were the only changes I made. I will make again. Thank you for sharing.

It left a little to be desired as it doesn't necessarily replace my craving for restaurant mac and cheese. It wasn't exactly as creamy as I hoped for but I suppose I could making a white sauce first then adding cheese = more work and that's not what I was looking for. I added a whole head of broccoli, 1 cup milk, half the amount of sour cream, no cottage cheese cause I didn't have any on hand, half the panko (all I had), no butter... Just sprayed top w cooking oil and tossed it in a 8x8 baking dish. Oh yeah, and an egg. I would like to try it with cottage cheese next time and maybe omitting the egg will help w creaminess. Overall, very easy and recommended.

This was alright. I didnt think it was any better or worse than any other macaroni recipe I've made. It was easier than making a regular cheese sauce but I didnt find it tastier. Still good though.

This is a stand-by for my family of 6. If I have Velveeta I cube up about 6 oz and add to the recipe. I usually double the amount of elbow macaroni. I add a little crushed red pepper to the cheese mix & top the whole dish off with paprika before I bake it. Oh, I love this recipe!

I made this last night and it's absolutely a keeper! The only modifications I made were to add a quarter cup of milk (per previous reviews) so the cheeses and pasta would mix a little easier, and I used panko rather than breadcrumbs. It's rich and creamy and my boyfriend and I ate half the pan ourselves. Thanks so much for this recipe!
