"I first made this festive breakfast pie when entertaining friends on Christmas morning. Each year I was asked to make my famous 'Christmas Morning Pie' and the name stuck! But because of its great flavor, I make it year-round."

Yum! I've made several similar recipes before, and this is our new favorite! I used 1.5 cups cheddar cheese and about 3/4 cup mozzarella, because that's what I had on hand. I didn't have any red pepper, but know that it would add great taste and color, especially for the holidays. We prefer a thicker pie, so this recipe is almost perfect (with a little left over) in one 9-inch deep dish crust, when using four extra-large eggs. Thanks for sharing!

I made this for a breakfast for work after trying out another breakfast casserole recipe that wasn't very good. This was delicious and was a big hit at work. Everyone enjoyed the pies and wanted the recipe. Very easy to prepare. I left out the peppers and it was still good. Made one with just bacon and one with bacon and sausage.

This was very good! I followed the recipe as is. My husband loves to eat these types of "quiche" dishes for a change from the same old eggs and sausage. Next time I will try bacon or chopped ham instead of the sausage for a different flavor.

This breakfast pie was absolutely delicious. I baked it for dinner last week, and my husband and daughter devoured it. It was firm but wonderfully moist, and reheated great! Will keep this in my recipe box.

This is a great recipe. I also just made one big deep dish pie instead of two. I also made it for Christmas morning for my family this year, hostessing for the first time. Huge hit! Absolutely fabulous.Six people and not a crumb left. I played with it once since as with every single solitary recipe I try my boyfriend wants more meat in it. (Carnivores..eh)So I used only the red pepper and onion, added crumbed bacon (about 2/3 lbs) and chopped up 1/4 cup jalapeno cheddar smokies (the little cocktail sausages). He ate half the pie! Thank You so much for sharing!

Great recipe. I cut it in half, but used extra sausage and cheese. I also added green onion and mushrooms and left out the bell peppers. Great dish that I will make again!

This pie was super easy to make and it was a huge crowd pleaser. I made two pies and they were gone in a matter of minutes.

Very good and very easy. I used turkey sausage instead of pork. I think this may become a Christmas tradition.

My family and I love this dish! It is delicious and very easy to make. For a less festive dish, I use orange or yellow bell peppers instead of the green bell peppers.
