ground pork sausage
1 (8 ounce) package
refrigerated crescent roll dough, or as needed
mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
ground black pepper to taste
Nice breakfast casserole. I wanted something simple for a work breakfast and this fit the bill. Two things, though: I thought this needed more crust, so I used two packages of crescent roll dough instead of one, and I didn't understand why it needed to chill overnight. I didn't have the time to do that anyway, so I just baked. It was almost gone by the end of the day, and I really enjoyed it, so I think it was a hit. thanks for the recipe!
Awesome ! I will make this on Christmas morning yummy !
awesome quick and easy recipe! great base recipe or great just as it is! if you're a crust lover like myself I would add in another 8 ounce crescent roll pack!
