Original Recipe Yield 2 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 cup butter

Directions

  1. Combine eggs and sugar, and mix well. Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened.
  2. Pour mixture into a medium size bowl, and add chocolate. Beat until cool. Beat in butter or margarine.
  3. Chill frosting until thick enough to spread.
