The cookies were very good, but VERY chocolatey. I think I would make the cookies much smaller next time. The flavor was good and they were very easy to make.

Mine were crumbly/grainy. Had to bake them longer to see the cracks on top, maybe that was my problem. Not sure where I went wrong.

Sorry, these were incredibly tasteless and crumbly. Followed the recipe exactly, and watched for the cracks in the top to make sure they were done. Don't get the high rating at all.

I found this recipe in an old Taste of Home cookbook and made it for the first time this year. What a hit. I've shared the recipe with several people and they've now passed it on to others. What a great soft cookie - not at all crumbly. It's wonderful.

These cookies pack a powerful taste of chocolate. I made two different sizes - the smaller ones are definitely the right size. I will make these again and again.
