These cookies were very tasty, very buttery. I got a lot of compliments. They were a little chewier than I had hoped for; I am looking for a slightly thicker, softer, breadier cookie. These were chewy and flattened as they baked. I did have to amend the recipe a little to get the dough to hold together; I just added 1/4 cup light corn syrup.
