I give this recipe a Thumbs Up!!!. I used this for a catering event and they were a hit. Catering by Georgianna uses this site alot for ideas to enchance our clients request. Used the addiitional peanut with the chocolate on the top and work extremely well.

I just made a batch of these, my husband claims they are fantastic and better than Reeses, and says it reminds him of his mother's beloved fudge (the powdered sugar gave him that familiar taste). I do not have a 13x9 inch pan, so used a 10" springform pan with wax paper lining to make these. They came out nice and thick, like the picture. I mixed some peanut butter and margarine with the chocolate chips, probably about a heaping TBS of each, to make the consistency creamier for spreading. I used Country Crock churn style and it tastes fine. Freeze the pan for 20 mins before cutting the bars and they will cut easy. This is definitely well worth trying and a 'KEEPER'. Enjoy everyone!

So easy to prepare, and gets rave reviews - my co-worker rightly called this "a reese's peanut butter cup on steroids"! Be sure to let this chill before serving.

I agree with the 600 others that say this is quite the crowd pleaser- do add the salt, brings out the individual flavors.

Fabulous! I loved it! Tasted just like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. I used a 9x9 pan - to make them extra thick :-)

Next time I make this recipe I will add a bit more peanut butter. I would also recommend using a mixer to mix the dry and 'wet' ingredients together. The ingredients didn't mix as well as I had hoped and I think using a mixer and slowly combining the ingredients would help. It kept well and was excellent!

OUTSTANDING!!! 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 2/3 cup of butter is enough, no need for the extra calories or sweetness! Brought to a party and everyone raved out them! thanks for sharing Justine!

Thanks to the all recipes for posting this as the Recipe of the Day over the weekend. I made these bars for dessert yesterday. Delicious and decadent. I didn't have graham crackers crumbs so I used Digestive biscuits which might not have produced the best texture for the base but took nothing away from the taste. I will buy graham cracker crumbs just for this recipe. I added peanut butter and a bit of butter to the chocolate while melting so that the chocolate wouldn't break up when cutting into squares. I have to still work on the right amount as the chocolate was still a tad hard. And I did as others suggested, used parchment paper to cover the cookie sheet - easy to lift out to cut up. Very easy, very quick. Will make many times.

These turned out SO good!!! I didn't have graham crackers, though, so I used ground up oatmeal, which worked really well, tastes like a Reese's cup!
