I really did not like this cake. It was too heavy and tasted like flour.

I found this too heavy and oily. We ate it but didn't enjoy it a whole lot. I followed the recipe to a tee, but baked it in a bundt pan. I don't think the pan made much difference.

Nothing spectacular about this recipe. Very easy to make and very tasty. Great for a vegan alternative.

So fast and easy. I have just whipped this one up in minutes. I have added 1 tsp of coffee so will see how it goes. Yum!

Same as the Wacky Cake that is mixed in the pan. I have made this for years and a peanut butter icing on this is to die for

GOOD GOOD GOOD Stuff. No eggs either. You should try this EXACTLY by the recipe first. Don't think you will need any changes.

the cake had a huge clump in the middle because of all the oil. Chewy...yes. but NOT in a good way. Yuck.

FABULOUS cake! Moist and flavourful. I halved the recipe for an 8" square, added about 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips as well as 1 Tablespoon of instant coffee mixed in the water. I am calling it "Easy Eggless Chocolate Cake" instead of using 'oil' in its name, with EASY emphasized (one bowl and no mixer!!). Try it everyone!

I have made this recipe for 30 years with a variety of icings however, I don't use as much flour when I make this and also only use half the soda. THIS IS THE OLD WACKY CAKE RECIPE.
