Chocolate Lover's Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted, cooled slightly
  • 1 (6 ounce) OREO Pie Crust

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix just until blended. Stir in melted chocolate. Pour into crust.
  2. Bake 40 minutes or until center is almost set; cool.
  3. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese.

All in all this is a very rich, luscious and wonderfully satisfying cheesecake experience to be savored any time of the year. My folks went absolutely gaga over this recipe on Christmas night ... especially when we added a nice-sized dollop of Cool Whip on each slice! I will definitely make this again. Thanks, Baker's Chocolate!
