This is terrific frosting! I adapted this recipe today for my daughters birthday cake. I used some homemade bittersweet fudge sauce that is thinner than the store bought variety so I used it to smooth out the butter/sugar/cocoa combination rather than use the milk. I didn't need any milk it turns out. I added the sauce a little at a time until it was a consistancy that could be spread and piped. I didn't need to use all the recipe required to get a deep chocolate flavor which would have required adding more sugar. I love that it didn't have that raw powdered sugar taste and wasn't grainy.
