The chocolate filling was wonderful, easy and a big hit! The cream puffs were so easy, similiar to the rest of the recipies, but I liked the chocolate filling.

Great recipe. Although i did change a few things as 6 these would of been huge! so i made 12 instead. 12 is also a great number for baking... 1 for me, 2 for my boyfriend, 1 for his friend (who i swear lives on our couch) and then i still have some left over for company in a few hours. lol. Because i reduced the size i baked them at 400 for only 12 minutes, then reduced it to 300 for 25 minutes. And just because i dont like melting and mixing chocolate, u just melted some 'Nestle milk choc' morsels in the micwav and drizzled it over the top instead of mixing unsweetened with sugar... and adding water? that cant be right i would think it would be grainy or clumpy. But great recipe, i will use the batter recipe over and over for making small snack when entertaining and try filling them with all sorts of savory and sweet ingredients.

Very delicious. However, if you make six puffs from this dough, you'll have some really big cream puffs! I elected to measure my dough out with a large cookie scoop and got about 20 bite sized puffs. I reduced the cooking time due to the smaller puffs (though they came out a bit eggy, so I reduced too much, I'll have to experiment on the timing). The filling was very delicious, at first I thought it wasn't going to work because it gets quite stiff at the end of the addition of the confectioner's sugar, but that's good, it means it won't get weepy while the puffs sit. The only thing that wasn't 100% good was the glaze. It tastes good but looks a bit grainy.

This was a great recipe! They were not too complicated and turned out great. Very delicious! I recommend shaping the puffs with an ice cream scoop to make sure they're cohesive once they're baked.
