Have made these for many years and absolutely love them. Easy and ingredients we normally have. Try them heated with a scoop of icecream - really brings out the flavors. Also you can add 2 tbsp. dark rum and allow them to ripen a couple of days after baking...yum

I love this recipe. I've been wanting to try baking with dates for a while, so I gave this recipe a shot: the bars were SO moist and flavorful. I also put some chocolate chips in the batter itself to make it a little more chocolatey. This recipe was a huge hit, thanks alot!

The taste was very nice for such an easy recipe. We made a mistake about the structure cause we chopped the dates in slices and the result was that we couldnt cut in small squares after that
