So good, so simple! I followed the recipe as posted with the addition of ½ teaspoon espresso powder. The texture is amazing, crisp on the edges; soft and chewy in the center. I’ll make these again and again.

not a big fan :( sorry. Alot of work went into these and i just wasn't impressed with the result. Everyone else liked them though. I found them to be a little dry, they didnt keep well (even with the old bread in the container trick) and I wasnt a huge fan of the flavor. I am going to try changing this recipe a bit and trying again. I think an addition of semi sweet chocolate chips might help. I'll let you know how that goes

These were ok for us, not our favorite cookie. My daughter thought they tasted like dark chocolate, which she doesn't care for. My son that is a lover of all things chocolate only wanted to give this three stars! I'm not sure if I will be making these again.

This is a favorite of one of my coworkers so I thought I'd give them a whirl. I have NEVER made any kind of chocolate crinkle before, but I am so glad I did. My family loved them. They are soft, chewy, chocolately, and delicious. I also used about half the recipe to make chocolate blossom cookies. I rolled the balls in granulated sugar and then pressed a Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses into them right after they came out of the oven. Yum! I'll be making the Kisses version for Santa this year per my daughter's request.

My son says these taste just like brownies so if you don't need a cookie just make brownies. If you really want a cookie then these are good. When you are rolling the dough into little balls, divide the dough into quarters and only use 1 quarter at a time. Keep the rest of the dough in the refrigerator until you need it because the colder it is, the easier it is to work with.

Despite the gooey batter, I thought they were a little on the dry side after they cooked. They were good, but not amazing.

These are yummy. They taste like chewy brownies. I made them pretty small as they are very rich. They did not make as many as the recipe said, so keep that in mind.

These are so delicious- like mini fudge brownies! I stuck the dough in the freezer for 45 minutes and it was a breeze to work with. These are very easy and I think they would look beautiful on a Christmas tray.

These turned out perfect! I followed the directions exactly, and had no trouble rolling out the dough, it wasn't sticky at all (it was in the fridge for 4 plus hours). Amazing recipe, these cookies will look great on the tray for Christmas!

these are delicious! a bit crispy on the outside, soft and melt-in-your-mouth-brownie like on the inside :) i followed the recipe but baked sheet by sheet second from the top in oven in order for them to 'crinkle'. i made only 3 sheets(2 sheets reg sized cookies, 1 sheet larger sized) because i wanted to try small and larger ones, the small ones took 11 mins, large ones were about 14. they both turned out wonderfully :) my friends are forcing me to make them for my christmas party next week because they are so good. i will be making these again and again! thank you.

To make them even better, if thats possible, I add about 2 teaspoons of instant coffee. This does NOT give them a coffee taste it intensifys the chocolatiness of these already fabulous cookies. You will not be disappointed either with the coffee addition or the original recipe so do make these!!!!

These cookies came out PERFECT! Just the way I wanted them!!! I tried another recipe before these, but they flattened out and were dry and hard...very disappointing. I added a spicy twist to these. I scaled the recipe down to 18 cookies and used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa and added 1/4 tsp of cracked peppercorn from my Peppercorn Medley and 1/2 tsp of cardamom. Gave it a very exotic chai tea type flavor. This recipe is a keeper!

very fudgey! They were a big hit with the preschoolers at my house!! Easy!! Two things that I got from previous reviews that I used and helped me tremendously: Put the dough in the freezer for a little while instead of the refrigerator-so much faster! AND use wet hands to handle the dough. Thanks so much for the recipe!
