This was very tasty. I followed others suggestions and added extra coco powder but it wasn't enough chocolate flavor for me. Next time I will add more coco and omit the butter and vanilla, it took away from the flavor. I served my pudding with sand on top. Everyone loved it.

This was a great pudding to make and eat! Quick and easy and used everything I already had on hand. The only change I made was to use regular Splenda instead of real sugar and you couldn't tell the difference! Great for a late night snack!

(and a 1/2) If you're having trouble w/lumps, might I suggest the following: whisk together dry ingredients as directed. Then prior to putting on the heat, S-L-O-W-L-Y whisk in the milk... a little bit at a time (kinda like when you're making a roux). The "thick mass" thrashing around in the pot will eliminate all the lumps!

VERY GOOD! I had no idea it could be so easy to make pudding from scratch. I used 2% milk and it turned out wonderful. It only took minutes. Thank you Kelly for such a terrific recipe.

I've made this pudding twice now, and both times it turned out smooth, creamy and yummy. I made no changes to the recipes - it's just right!

Delicious. I used some evaporated milk as one reviewer suggested and half brown sugar. i made the mistake of boiling the butter and vanilla with everything else but i don't htink it made a difference. this is great - i am eating it and it hasn't even cooled yet. great recipe.

Maybe not five stars as an intricate, elaborate dessert, but certainly five stars for a humble, homemade chocolate pudding. Perfectly sweet. Perfectly chocolatey. Perfectly creamy and comforting. I made no changes to the recipe.

The taste of this pudding was amazing. I couldn't get enough. I followed the recipe exactly. I did get lumps though. I'm not sure if I had it on too high. It took FOREVER to boil. Or if my constarch clumped. I loved it though....lumps and all.

This was a great straight forward pudding recipe. I added in a bit more chocolate, since I seem to like it that way, but I'm still looking for something that is a bit richer

This recipe is yummy and easy to make. I did, however, cut the sugar doen to 1/3 cup. Otherwise it is too sweet for me. I tried making it in the microwave and it came out just as good. Cook in microwave for 2 min and stir, cook for another 2 min and stir. Cook a little more watching for when it starts to boil. Remove from microwave and stir in butter and vanilla. Voila!

Super tasty! I didn't know making homemade pudding would be so easy. I really am not a fan of the plainness and boring old pudding. But I really like this recipe! We may just be eating pudding a bit more often! Although, I will have to find out how to alter this for different flavors... =)

This was gelatinous and totally unappealing once cooled, and the chocolate flavour was nothing to write home about. If you're looking for a pudding that holds its shape perfectly once out of a mold and don't really care about the flavour, this is it. If you're looking for creamy, chocolatey goodness, keep looking.

I followed another reviewer's suggestion and used brown sugar, and ~1/8 cup cornstarch and it was fantastic. I like this cornstarch version better than the flour version of Grandma's Old Fashion Pudding. The thicken process takes a little bit, so be patient, but all of sudden, it goes from liquid to thick!

Love this pudding!!! I took the advice of the reviewer before me and used brown sugar, evaporated milk, and reduced the cornstarch by half. It was wonderful!! The absolute creamiest!! I made a second batch omitting the cocoa and doubling the vanilla and it was a delicious vanilla pudding.
