Awesome and easy. When it was finished cooking I portioned it into individual servings and topped it with miniture marshmallows. YUMMY! The whole family loved it.

I followed the instructions to a T and now it is the best chocolate pudding I have ever made! The proportions are ideal ; I just omitted the butter and didn't bother about the 'skin' that my son gobbled up.Will definitely be making it again!

this is so easy and so good! you will never make box chocolate pudding again! if you dont like a skin on the top then use the plastic wrap method. so creamy, so chocolatey, so yummy!!!! keep stirring and dont get tempted to turn up the temperature or it will burn on the bottom of the pan. worth the tiny bit of patience! pure comfort food.

...Great pudding recipe! We celebrated my husbands birthday and he requested a yellow cake with chocolate pudding...no icing...no nuts...no sprinkles or candles....NO FUN! I baked the yellow cake in a 13x9 dish and while it was cooling made this pudding. The only changes I made was added 2 big pinches of brown sugar and a handful of mini choc chips. I poked holes in the cake and poured on the pudding. Turned out to be really good and best of all hubby said it was exactly what he wanted. Will be using this recipe from now on... :)

The saying, "good thing comes to those who wait" certainly holds true w/ this recipe. We followed the recipe (w/ no changes) and it turned out great. I used fat free milk since that's the type of milk we always use. FYI - several have commented about the "skin" which forms on top of the pudding. To avoid this, place a layer of plastic wrap directly on the top (so it's touching the pudding)of each bowl. No more skin. This is a keeper!

First time making homemade pudding. Yum! I disagree with the person who thought it wasn't "pretty" cold... I stirred the skin into it before I put it in the fridge and I thought it looked great! Definitely not a recipe for someone in a hurry - get a stool to do the stirring! But it's worth it. Thanks!

Comfort food at it's best! It does require some patience to bring the mixture to a boil...but it is worth the wait and all the stirring. This is delicious served warm...the first time I made it I ate the whole thing myself! I doubled the recipe the next time so I would have some leftover to refrigerate. It still tasted great cold, although it doesn't look very pretty. That's why I only gave it four stars...I wouldn't serve it to company and it might be a hard sell for someone who doesn't love pudding. I love the fact that I can satisfy a sudden chocolate craving with just a few ingredients usually on hand. I know I'll be making this one again this winter!

Jell-O might provide a quicker, more convenient chocolate bang, but THIS recipe is much tastier -- skip the box and go for homemade cholately yumminess! :o) TIP: place plastic wrap directly on the warm pudding before chilling to ward off the "skin" that will form on the surface of the pudding.

This was pretty good. I had some young guests over and they enjoyed the pudding made into a popsicle-- but it was not good two days later. Pretty gross actually. I don't know what happened with that, but I may still use this as a pudding recipe.

Some friends and I take turns picking up milk from a local dairy. When I was gathering my jars today I found I had 3/4g of milk to use before my friends came by to pick up my jugs. I qudrupled this recipe for our family and found the results to be most satisfying. Velvety smooth and choco-riffic!

Good! A but grainy but not in a bad way (this is how homemade/cornstarch puddings are--they'll never be as smooth as the boxed stuff). Gets runny if there is any left over so plan to eat it that day.
