These are delicious and easy cookies! I also added a 1/2 tsp. salt and put the batter in the fridge for an hour before baking. I rolled them out in balls and baked them! They came out perfectly puffy and had a great taste. With all cookies, put them in a container with a piece of white bread and they will stay soft for days!!!

Scrumptious...a must add to my collection of cookie recipes! I followed the recipe exactly minus that I used white chips instead of chocolate. Th cookie was crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. It wasn't cake like. They weren't super puffy or super flat. It was excellent!

WOW! These cookies were fabulous...and I'm not a HUGE cookie fan unless they're really worth it. I made a couple of adjustments. I added about a 1/2 tsp of kosher salt, as most baked goods need a little bit of salt to enhance flavor. Some people also suggested that this helps the cookies rise? I also added about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and used milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet. Oh MAN were they good!

I saw this recipe this morning and decided to make it as a Valentine's Day treat for my family this afternoon. They turned out really great. Not the best cookie I have ever had, but certainly delicious. I followed earlier reviews and added a 1/2 tsp salt, and also I used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder. They were a hit!

These cookies are THE BEST. The only change I made was to use only 1 cup chocolate chips, and I added 1 cup M&M's. I used the Valentine-colored M&M's to make them festive. After putting the dough onto the cookie sheet, I pressed a few more M&M's into the top of the dough. They were so soft and delicious. I took some to work, and they were gobbled up. Everyone kept telling me how evil I was bringing these cookies in that they couldn't resist. My husband would not stop talking about them. I'm making some more today!

My family loved these. I add 1/2 tsp. Salt to this recipe. As for combining the ingredients. Combine dry ingredients except the white and brown sugar. In a separate bowl cream sugars and very soft butter until light and fluffy add one egg at a time and then add the vanilla. Add the sifted dry ingredients a little at a time into the wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips. These were very moist, chewy, and rich. I will be making these again.

I had a great time making these. By mixing the eggs with the sugars till it is like a whipped cream makes them even more fluffy at exit from the oven. I would also recommend cooling them in the fridge for an hour prior to baking. MMMMMMMMMM

Very good. I added my white and brown sugar to the "dry ingredients" bowl per instructions then read that the sugars were to be creamed with the butter and eggs. I re-bounded with a good cookie in the end. :-) I found the dough to be very sticky and hard to work with. I could handle it much better after putting it in the frig for a few minutes.

These were excellent. I was out of brown sugar and had to use yellow golden sugar in its place, but they still turned out. I rolled the dough into smallish balls and didn't flatten them -- so the centre stays soft. I recommend these ones for sure.

This is a very solid recipe but a little sweet for my taste. I adjusted it to take a slightly more healthy approach but not sacrifice the cookie taste; 1C WW flour, 1C AP flour, 3/4C butter, and only 1C brown sugar (instead of 1 1/2C combine) As for cooking these cookies I refrigerated the dough for 15 min to firm it up a bit, the dough at that point was easy to scoop and didn't spread much so you can feel free to fill the pan without worry and form them as you like. Also, peanut butter chips, white chocolate, any style of nuts, and cherry chips go great with this recipe.

I'm not a huge chocolate lover, but I decided to make some cookies to take into work with me and figured these would be a nice change from the regular old chocolate chip cookies. My mom loved that the house smelled so good when she got home, and I had to stop myself from eating more of them! My dad limited himself to 5 cookies haha. I cant wait to take them with me to work in the morning. :)
