This is the best of this recipe that I've tried. It's deliciously rich!

Quite good, and my husband and I didn't even add the chocolate chips - just walnuts. For those cookie dough eaters out there, this stuff is great!

this recipe was sooo good. i added a little over one teaspoon of salt, one cup of dried cherries, one cup of slivered almonds, and used giradelli chocolate chunks unstead of chips. they stayed very puffy and looked as good as they tasted

This recipe was wonderful!! Instead of 2 cups of chocolate chips I put 1 cup of semi-chocolate chips and 1 cup Reese's pieces. My husband loved them!

These cookies are *awesome*. They taste very brownie like right from the oven. I also trippled the vanilla in the receipe, but these cookies turned out fantastic! It makes very large cookies too. I converted the reciepe to 12 and made 12 huge cookies.

The cookies kept there shape well but the texture was not to my liking. They almost have a cake like texture. I found that this recipe was bland. Not sure if it was because it didn't call for salt or if it was due to less sugar then most cookie recipes. If you prefer a chewy sweeter kind of cookie I wouldn't suggest this recipe.

Delicious! But it's a little too sweet for my own taste, so I used bitter chocolate. Other than that, really, really good and satisfies the sweet tooth.

The best cookie recipe I've ever tried, there are a lot of bad ones out there! I followed SHEBOP's directions and sifted all dry ingredients except the sugars. The cookies are EXCELLENT! I'll be passing this one on to others! I'm sure you can make regular chocolate chip by just omitting the cocoa powder.

I made these cookies because I had those ingredients in the kitchen. I was looking for cookies my son could leave out for Santa. As it turns out my husband, who is normally against my baking because he's not a big fan of cookies and cake, really loved them. I did change the recipe a little. I added about a 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp baking powder. They are beautifully fluffy and very moist. I think the salt brings out the flavor a little better. I actually tried one cookie before adding the salt and it was a little blande. I would definately recommend the salt. Love the cookies though.

Just made these and only put in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and added 3/4 cup of the Andes peppermint chips. I also pressed some of the pepermint chips on top once the cookie dough was on the sheet. Delicious and festive looking. Great cookies!

Easy and good. A recipe that can be tweaked. I am taking some of these to our family Christmas gathering along with a few of my other faves. My grown up kids love to have cookies to take home so this year they each get their own tin. Makes me feel happy to find recipes I like and this one is a keeper!

These have a special spot in my holiday baking box. I can never keep them around for very long, I tend to have to make a double batch and hide them from the hubby.
