Crust:
1 box Duncan Hines® Triple Chocolate Cake Mix (reserve 1/4 cup of dry mix for cheesecake filling)
1/2 cup butter
1 large egg
Chocolate shavings, for garnish
Filling:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
2 eggs
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Reserved dry cake mix
Package of triple chocolate add in pouch (mix as directed on package)
Lacking in cheesecake flavor, but my family loved these anyway! The reference to a temperature of 325 degrees in step 4 is an error. I baked mine at 350 and still had to add a few minutes of time because it was beyond jiggly. (Maybe because I'm at high altitude.) Other than that I prepared it as written. Will be making this for a cookie exchange and I think it'll go over well because the layers add a "fancy" touch.
