Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Prepare batter according to instructions on cake mix package. Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Reserve remaining chips.
  3. Pour batter into Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
  4. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then turn out onto a wire rack. Before cake is cool, pour reserved chocolate chips on top.

This was very easy! But it was dry. I didn't care for it. I needed a recipe that didn't use oil (as I was out). I prefer the box cake mix recipes that use instant pudding. Those are moist!! Sorry

recipe box cake+chocolate chips does NOT equal "Recipe" dear. this is just silly; like posting a recipe for hamburgers and starting "pull up to the drive thru window..."

My Grandpa LOVED this cake. He called and asked me to give to my grandma. My whole family loved this. Very rich, very moist. I suggest baking for 55 minutes. DELICIOUS!!
