Pecan Chocolate Chip Pie

Submitted by: Carolyn
Before the buttery and sweet filling is poured into the homemade pie shell, pecans and semisweet chocolate chips are sprinkled over the bottom of the pastry. So as the pie bakes, the chocolate melts and mingles with the filling and makes a wonderful taste surprise. Serve with freshly whipped cream and a spoonful of chocolate chips.

Sweet, chocolaty, crunchy, and down-right decadent, this pie is sure to please all. Corn syrup, butter, and sugar are first melted, and then eggs, bourbon, vanilla and salt are combined in a bowl and whisked along with the heated sugar mixture. Then the chocolate and pecans are mixed into the filling that 's then poured into the pie shell.

In this dessert for a crowd, the chocolate chips and pecans are mixed into the egg, corn syrup and sugar base before the filling is poured into two 9-inch pie shells.

The best chocolate pecan pie you will ever try. I used to sell this pie to a restaurant and the customers had nothing but praise for it.

This pie is packed with chocolate. Chocolate is stirred into the sweet custard filling, and then chocolate chips and pecans are stirred into that. This chocolaty pecan concoction is then poured into a pie crust and baked.

This is made just like a traditional pecan pie, with the addition of chocolate chips. It is very fudgy. It is always the first dessert to go at our family's Thanksgiving!

This luscious pecan pie 's bottom layer is melted chocolate. And on top of this chilled delight is whipped cream sweetened with confectioners ' sugar and a hint of vanilla.

Corn syrup makes this veritable pecan pie thick and sweet. Unsweetened chocolate makes it sensational. Serve warm or chilled.

This pie is thick, gooey and full of pecans with just a hint of chocolate. The unsweetened cocoa powder makes the subtle difference.

A sweet, butter and egg mixture is combined with lots of pecans and milk chocolate pieces, spooned into a prepared pie crust and baked. The chocolate melts, the pecans get gooey, and the crust turns golden brown.
