Absolutely fabulous! We had these for breakfast this morning and we loved them! I normally don't like anything with cinnamon but I made the syrup anyway... so glad I did! It was the perfect compliment to the pancakes. I will definitely make these again!

This recipe was delicious! I made these for my brother, who LOVES chocolate, and he loved them! The only complaint I have is that they never cooked quite right. They were either burned a bit or the middle was slightly gooey. This might've been the recipe or maybe it was just my ancient griddle. :) Thanks for a GREAT recipe! I will use this again in the future, no doubt!

These were great! I've always used premixed pancake mix, but never again. I added 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon to the mix. Everyone also enjoyed the syrup!

I made these for my daughter and she LOVED them! I made a few changes - 1 c. white flour, 1 c. whole wheat flour. And I used homemade applesauce for the oil. They turned out amazing! We will be making these again!!!

I made these for my boyfriend. He loved them! The mini chocolate chips make these pancakes so chocolately they don't even need syrup. Definitely going to make these again.

Wow yummy! I did try to make it a bit healthy though, I used 1/2 cup of oatmeal and 1 1/2 Cup AP flour, I also replaced the oil with applesauce. They were still great!

This was good, but not spectacular. Thanks for a nice change of pace for breakfast though!

These were fantastic. I had never made pancakes before ever, and I made these...very good. I did take another review's advice and reduce the baking powder to two teaspoons, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It's sweet, very sweet...and filling. I would definitely like to try this with blueberries.

these pancakes are more like a dessert. I made the honey butter and it tasted awesome on the pancakes but not for the figure friendly.

Good recipe. Used half white whole wheat flour, which gave it a bit stronger aftertaste, but the kids still ate them up. Did not use the syrup, chocolate chips are sweet enough!

Wonderful pancakes! To make them healthier for my kids, I changed or added the following... instead of 2 cups white flour I used 1 1/2 unbleached and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, add 1 T cinnamon, add 1 T vanilla, add 2 T flax meal, add 2 T toasted wheat germ, and an extra slash of milk if needed. My kids could not eat them fast enough!

I have tried several different recipes for batter, and this one came out moist and thick. The pancakes really held together well, and tasted great. I did add a dash of Vanilla as I do to most of my recipes. I am really pleased with this one and have already saved it to my file.

Added vanilla and blueberries in lieu of the chocolate chips. The batter was so nice and creamy, and held the blueberries suspended in the batter (no digging around for them!) perfectly! I sifted the dry ingredients together and mixed the wet seperately before combining, and the result was nice and light! Delish!

This is an awesome pancake recipe! I have used it many times, with and with out the chocolate chips. Either way, they're the best!

Very good pancakes! I made no changes and the family gobbled them up faster than I could make them. I scattered extra chocolate chips around the plate for good measure ;) Will make again for sure!
