these muffins are realllllly good. i used a whole cup of milk and some extra oil like most suggested. i only had normal sized chocolate chips so i used those and increased to a whole cup of chocolate chips. my muffins baked in less time than the recipe suggests- so make sure to keep an eye on them. and just to share this gem of knowledge- every time i bake muffins the thin aluminum foil kind of muffin cups work so much better than the thicker non-stick metal ones. im not sure why- but the flimsier muffin cups seem to cook more evenly and the bottom never burns or gets tough.

They're fast and easy, expecially for breakfast. At first I thought the batter was too moist and they were going to br soggy, but they were perfect. (a big hit with the kids frends.

These were really super easy to make, but they really weren't muffins. I took some advice from the reviews and added more milk to the recipe, but they were pretty much like tea biscuits with chocolate chips in them. I wouldn't make them again as muffins, perhaps omit the chocolate chips and make them for when people come by for tea.

These were good. I made them for my quiting-smoking sweetie. They came out of the oven during prime-time TV and were gone by morning. I only gave them 3 stars because of the various adjustments I made to the recipe after reading the reviews. I threw in the sour cream, increased the chocolate chips, and generally fiddled with the quantities.

Very, very, very dry. I have been trying to find a way to alter the recipe, but no matter what I do, they are still dry.

Easy, fast, delicious. The outside was a little crispy, more like a biscuit, but I loved it like that. Dough seemed more like dough, less like batter - more milk next time? I took the advice of one reviewer and added just under 1/4 cup sour cream - very moist but not doughy or gooey. I also added 1 1/2 Tblspn orange zest - gave it another dimension. Can't wait for my 4yr son to wake up and give his review!

My boys loved these. Made some changes though, added 1/4cup butter, reduced oil to 1/4cup, increased white sugar to 3/4cup and added 1tsp Vanilla. Also, reduced cook time to 18mins as recommended.

hummm...i'm not 100% sold on these. i made exact changes that "White Chocolate" mentioned in his/her review. i think i over cooked them at 20 minutes....plus, my chips all floated to the bottom. i think i will add less milk next time to see if that helps. They were moist and tasted good...just not exactly how i had hoped.

5 Stars! Easy,Fast and Delicious! I did increase the milk to 1 cup. I didn't have any mini chocolate chips. I use regular size "Milk" Chocolate chips. The results were awsome! The topping is the perfect compliment for these muffins.Yum!

I just made these this morning. They are very easy to put together. I made a double batch and got 24 good sized muffins and 12 mini muffins. I used a large Papmered Chef scoop to fill the muffin cups. I made some changes suggested by other reviewers...add 1/4 c. sour cream and I used regular chocolate chips, not mini. These muffins are tender on the inside with a nice crisp top. They look like they came from a bakery.

awsome muffins, never made muffins from scratch before and they turned out really well. They are even better with a little mixed fruit rather than chocolate chips. we did add a little vanilla and some sour cream just like the other reviewers suggested. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

These are ok. Nothing special. Next time I will substitute some whole wheat flour and add flax seed to make it healthier.
