I took these to my children's school for an event and kids were asking me for the recipe! Very simple to make with basic ingredients that I had on hand. Will be making again - soon!

I halved the recipe (ran out of PB) and used Wheat Chex. These were very greasy/chewy, and did not have enough PB taste for me. Maybe too much Karo? My friends all liked them, though.

Really good, quick snack. My family has been known to come to blows over the last one. Just kidding. We put the chocolate chips on top instead of with the other ingredients. Then spread the chips around while still warm to make a frosted effect. Watch your timing while bringing to a boil and don't overdo it or you'll end up with hard crispies. Underdo it and they turn out too sticky.

I love this recipe. I liked that I didnt have to use marshmellows because they are so sticky. My family loves peanut butter so it was really awesome. I didnt mix the chocolate chips in, but instead put them in a layer in the middle like another reviewer suggested. definatly will make it again =]

This recipe turned out TOO sweet for me. The amount of sugar + corn syrup made it sweet x 10. I should have seen it coming, though. The amount of peanut butter mixture to rice crispies was also insufficient. Perhaps next time more peanut butter. (I would recommend the chunky salted peanut butter to balance with the sugar).

Wow! This is good and so easy. My four year old made this (with a little help from me, of course) and had so much fun. I love that you can make these in the microwave and the whole thing is done and cooling in about 10 minutes. We used mini chips and stirred them in after we stirred in the crispies. They did melt a little but it didn't take anything away from the final product. Thanks for sharing such a yummy recipe. My daughter told her daddy she made them all by herself. They're that easy! :)

Very quick and easy! I used other reviewers suggestions and layered the crispy mixture with the chocolate chips between. I took this to my daughters pre-school family day and they all dissappeared! Everyone loved them! They were a little too rich for my taste but I will definatley make this again for a crowd.

Playgroup LOVED these! I lined my cake pan with wax paper for easy 'lifting' out of the pan. I also stored them covered overnight, maybe that's why mine were still soft the next day? I followed the recipe exactly, using both chunky and creamy peanut butter. I followed another suggestion of spinkling the chocolate chips between two layers of the rice cereal mixture to keep the chocolate from melting. These were a HUGE HIT! Thanks!

Yummy rice crispy treats with a twist. Even though they don't require an oven, they are still pretty messy to make. They taste good though.

I was not impressed at with this. Try the recipe for sctocheroos - it's much better altough the recipes are almost the same thing. Soft, chewy, not at all dry, and just as easy to make.

This is GREAT! Doubled the recipe, added 1/2 stick (4T) of butter, 2T extra corn syrup, and a generous dash of salt--balanced the flavor. I substituted reduced-sugar peanut butter for half the recipe, which kept it from being overly sweet. The chocolate chips definitely melted, but it tasted great all swirled together...should be called "Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispies".

I've never given a recipe a 3 before, but I'm just not sure what the big deal is about these bars. I followed the recipe exactly and was very disappointed. They were very dry, the bars fell apart when I cut them, and the flavor was not good at all. They were worse the next day, as the rice crispies got stale and crumbly. I'm glad so many people have had success with these bars, but I won't make them again. :-(
