These were very different & good. I thought I would like them more than I did. They were just so rich & I like rich things. I would make them again though. Nice idea.

Moist cake, gooey inside. Used chocolate devils cake instead of yellow and pre-made cookie dough. Made it in seconds. GREAT cupcakes, will make again. Thanks!

Brought these to a family potluck and the leftovers to work and they were a huge hit! One of my co-workers told me they were the best cupcakes she'd ever eaten.

Fun recipe! My family really enjoyed the tasty treat! I used regular-size chips and just chopped them instead of buying mini's. Worked out fabulously!

These cupcakes were good, though I was hoping I would get a cookie dough gooey to make my mouth say "wow". Instead the centers didn't taste any different, and they blended in like rest of the cupcake. I won't be making this again.

These cupcakes are sooo goood! What a great idea. Definetly different. My only problem on some of my baking tays- they didn't raise enough to cover the cookie dough and ened up with a whole in the middle where the cookie dough was. Frosting fixed that problem but, they were still good and moist. I used chocolate frosting. YUM!

I will confess to being something of a cake snob. I never use cake mixes, but today I really wanted to try these cupcakes out and I needed a quick Halloween goodie for a party. I used a chocolate cake mix and refrigerated cookie dough, which happened to be chocolate chunk with peanut butter cups. Delicious! Only froze the dough about 30 mins. It didn't sink to the bottom like in many of the photos, but it also did not melt into the cake so it worked fine. Topped them with vanilla buttercream, and was genuinely surprised at the awesome results! Seriously, people will think you are a genius. No issues with dryness. For the cookie dough, white chocolate & macadamia nut would be a nice combo as well. Very nice recipe, and I can't wait to try it with cake from scratch! :-) Thanks, LTH!

This could have easily been 5 stars, probably should have followed the recipe exactly. I used some leftover sugar-cookie dough I had been freezing and added carob chips to some, then butterscotch chips to the rest. Yeah, not the best cookie dough in there. Will definitely try these again some time but will make regular chocolate chip cookie dough. Awesome that the cupcakes cook right over the dough, I added an extra amount of yellow-cake mix to some, thinking they wouldn't work without the addition, but those cupcakes turned out huge! Definitely works to fill the liners 1/2-3/4 of the way full.

I made these for my preschool class halloween party and they turned out very dry. I don't know if it just the way my oven cooks (its not the best) or if the recipe is just not that great. The cookie dough is honestly not even like cookie dough after its cooked in the cupcake.

These were quite delicious. However, make SURE you don't overbake them... I did, and they were a little dry. I used a chocolate cupcake recipe and a chocolate buttercream frosting, and they came out great!

Just another glowing review. I usually bake these for about 11 minutes and they've turned out fine. My cookie dough balls look a little bigger then what's seen in the picture. Thanks for the recipe.

I love the idea of these. I followed the recipe exactly, but wasn't too impressed. They turned out fine, and the kids thought it was really cool, but I couldn't really even taste the cookie dough.
