Easy to make... delicious... substituted some crushed peanuts for the walnuts as I don't like them.

I halved the recipe. I don't know what went wrong, but it never got fully done in the middle, and I baked it for over an hour. Maybe it is my Irish oven... I don't know.

I halved the recipe and baked in a 9 x 13 for 20 mins as reviewers suggested. I made a foil sleeve and greased it to make them easier to remove. Then cut them with a pizza cutter on a cutting board. Make sure to allow plenty of time to cool. Some of mine broke because I was too anxious to wait. I will make these again because they are so quick and easy but next time will bake 22 -25 mins

Great, easy, bar cookie. I halved the recipe and used a 9x13 pan. They took about 20 minutes to cook. I also used half milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet.

I cut the serving number down to 25 and baked mine in an 8 x 8 pan and they turned out great! I think they cooked closer to 25 minutes, but they had a great cake/cookie taste that was hard to resist. They didn't last long either. :)

These are awesome. I usually cut the recipe in half and make it in a 9x13 pan. My kids love them and I have made them for several family affairs and have gotten rave reviews. The butter makes them. Don't substitute!! Sometimes I add walnuts.
