Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla and water; beat until smooth. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Press into three greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pans. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
