This was ok but a bit to sweet for a dip. I think this would be wonderful as a frosting between a few layers of really dense chocolate cake. If I make it again I would use it as frosting.

This was delicious! Very rich, although some other reviewers said they thought it tasted like cream cheese frosting - mine was more cheesecake flavored. I lined a round bowl with plastic wrap and filled with the mixture - after sitting in the fridge overnight it was still soft like cream cheese, but held it's shape nicely. I omitted nuts and coated with crushed chocolate graham crackers, then decorated with Teddy Grahams as this was to be served at a baby shower. Served with graham cracker sticks, honey wheat pretzel rods and more Teddy Grahams - was also yummy with cinnamon sugar pita crisps, although those ended up getting served with Annies' Fruit Salsa. This recipe is a definite winner! Thank you!

Have made this recipes several times and it is a big hit. I leave out the pecan nuts though because the kids don't like them. Be careful when you make this because once you start eating it, it is hard to stop ;)!!

I substituted graham cracker crumbs for the chopped pecans and served it with graham crackers. My husband and I thought there were too many chocolate chips -- I would probably reduce to just half a cup or less next time. And I'll probably label it the next time I take it to a potluck; I found my cheeseball next to the chili at the potluck I brought it for! It tasted excellent and was only half gone when we brought it home, so we ended up finishing it off that night by ourselves. Sinfully delicious! :)

If you want to be the star attraction at a cook - out or party, this is your ticket! Every time I take this unusual cheese ball anywhere, I am bombarded with requests for the recipe. I now keep copies of this recipe printed up and I just grab them on my way out the door. At first people are a bit leery to taste it, but once they do... they are hooked! I like to serve it with chocolate graham crackers as well as the honey graham crackers. The new graham cracker sticks are also fun to use!

Excellent! I get usual requests for this one at pot-lucks! The first time I made this I threw the ingredients in the Kitchen-Aide and started working on another dish. I then realized I whipped it too much and it would not hold. I just placed the mixture into a massive martini glass and called in a Chocolate Martini dip! The second time I was more cautious of my mixing and placed in a bowl (once wrapped in saran) and then put in the freezer to speed up the molding. Instead of rolling in chocolate chips I chop up praline nut mix and skor bits - gives it a little toffee flavour - YUMMY

You are going to want to double this! I took it to a "girls night out", served it with chocolate and cinnamon graham crackers and came home empty handed. After multiple requests for the recipe, I had to come back and give kudos.

It was okay. I brought it to a party and there was a lot leftover. It just reminded me of cream cheese frosting. Thanks but won't be making again.

This was a big hit at a party I went to! I did not have time to make it into a ball and refrigerate so I placed it in a pretty dish and used it as a spread that way. What a great recipe. Thank you.

Yummy! I didn't shape into a ball and just served as a dip. I served with homemade flour tortilla chips w/ sugar and cinnamon. Definitely a hit.

Wow. Wonderful creative and fun. Thanks for a great dessert. My family loved this and I can't wait to share it with my bible study group. Cinnamon regular gram crackers were perfect with this.
