This tastes super rich, super sweet & its good. The reason I rated it only three stars is because the only time that I would make it would be to serve to others and it does not look appetizing at all because it will not form any sort of a ball and just ends up a big pile of goo & you have to convince all but the most adventurous to even try it!

Super cheese ball. My son chose this recipe because he loves cheese and chocolate and this seemed to be the perfect blend. It was sooooo easy to make and tasted great. The only recommendation would be to put a little less butter. It still turned out amazing without all of it.

I love this recipe. I freeze to get it nice and firm. Then I usually split into 2 smaller balls since it makes so much and refill when the first runs low. Also, i find the perfect cookie for these are almond thins. They are a little more pricey, but worth it. Especially, since I can't find the chocolate graham cracker sticks anymore.

Oh, my...the woman's group I made this for LOVED it. Had several requests for the recipe. Did not have the mini chips, but, put regular sized choco chips in my chopper and used those. Had to let it harden overnight. Served with thin cappichino cookies & the graham pretzels from Tastefully Simple...yum!

I never had any intention of shaping this into a ball cause I was just making a small amount for myself. I did scale the recipe down but upped the amount of confectioners' sugar and doubled the brown sugar. I put this dip in an airtight container in the fridge overnight and the next day it did have a consistency which could be shaped into a ball if I wanted it that way. This recipe is so delicious though! I think it has just a bit too much butter because it is the first thing I taste but then it leaves my mouth with a wonderful cheesecake flavour in the end. I ate this with fudge covered graham crackers and I kept going back for more! Next time I am going to make the full recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Maybe y'all will have better luck than me shaping this into a ball. I softened the cream cheese and butter at room temp and refrigerated the mixture overnight. I had a heck of a time rolling it in the pecans and shaping it into a ball. As for the taste, I liked it but my guests weren't crazy about it (I had a lot left over...even with 17 kids). Maybe more powdered sugar in the mix to firm it up?

I love this recipe. I have a huge sweet tooth, so it was right up my ally. I shaped it into two balls instead of one. I took one to church and the other to work. i did have to chop up more pecans to coat them well. Everyone loved it! This recipe is a sweet retreat to the usual salty cheese balls.

Everyone really liked this! I thought it might have needed more sugar to counteract the strong cream cheese flavor. Rolling it in heath was awesome though. Served with chocolate teddy grahams and animal crackers.

I make this for parties all the time and everyone asks for the recipe. both kids and adults love it. I serve it with chocolate graham sticks and it is really easy to make. I have never heard anyone say they don't like it and I have served it to many people. Definitely one of my most requested recipes.

Great desert for a party. I like using the graham cracker bears or sticks on the side. It's quick, easy, tasty, and it goes over well.

This is such a fun appitizer/dessert to take to a gathering. I make just a couple of changes though. I add peanut butter chips in addition to the chocolate chips. And instead of rolling the ball in the pecans, I roll it in finely crushed oreos! I also have pretzels on the side (which is WONDERFUL) in addition to the graham cracker sticks. It gives people an option of sweet, sweet or sweet and salty. I always get requests for this! Enjoy!

This is very good and addictive! I rolled half with pecans, half with mini chocolate chips. I prefer the side with chips, although I think even just a few pecans mixed into the cheese ball would be good. I also liked that when you roll it in chocolate chips, guests know to expect sweet flavor, not a regular cheese ball flavor. Served with graham crackers.

Want to make this even more delicious & sinful? My family make a version of this recipe (minus the butter, brown sugar, & nuts) and pours hot fudge over the top. Just warm an open jar in the microwave for 30 seconds. Irresistible!

I took it to a party and did get one request for the recipe...but I didn't think it was that good. Too me it tasted like chocolate chips in cream cheese. I might make it again for something different at a party, but I'm in no hurry to do so!

I took this to a GNO, expecting it to be devoured. The problem with this recipe is that if it's served as an appetizer, people don't want to mix it with the savory stuff. You have to wait until 'after' the initial food is served and then bring it out. Once the girls had switched to the sweet stuff, they raved about it! A definite indulgance!
