The only change I made was to add twice the salt and twice the baking soda. These are fantastic! Really bursting with chocolate. I don't know what the other reviewers' problems were with soft batter - mine was actually quite dense and dry... formed balls perfectly.

The batter looked a bit soft but I didn't make any modifications; thought I'd give it a try as-is. They taste nice but they spread too much.

the taste is very nice... but da batter is too soft before i pop it into the oven nad my cookies turn out to be very flat... how can i make the batter more firm??

These cookies are absolutely delicious and came out beautiful. Very quick and easy to make too! The kids even gobbled them right up and usually do not eat cookies with nuts! I just want to add that I cooked them on Pampered Chef stone which I've found makes most all my cookies come out better
