These are really tasty! We also decreased the baking soda to 1-1/2. Tps. & added 1 tbsp. of milk based on previous reviews. Baked exactly 15 minutes & these muffins came out great. Made these with my 6 yr. old daughter. Easy & yummy muffin recipe, thanks!

I used whole wheat flour, half the sugar called for and used pecans instead of walnuts. I got this started to mix but the batter was way too dry. I ended up adding a full cup of "soured" nonfat milk. I saved a little bit of the chopped pecans to sprinkle over the top. I didn't get twenty-four muffins, I got eighteen using my 1/4 c. measuring cup. My kids thought these were great. I'd like to play with this recipe a little and see if I can't cut back the sugar even more and maybe use egg whites next time.

Tasty but not cake like. I'm quite disappointed. Shouldn't muffins be like mini cakes? The muffins came out chewy like cookie dough. I only used 1 teaspoon of baking soda as other reviewers recommended. How come there is no milk added to the recipe?

I used half the recommended amount of baking soda, didn't add any nuts, and added half a tsp of salt, though they could have used a little more. Overall, an ok recipe.

These are really good; would be 5 stars with the amount of baking soda decreased. My family really enjoyed them.

These muffins were absolutely delicious! I made half the recipe (I only had 1 banana) and I am definitely regretting it because now they are all gone! I did lower the dose of baking soda as suggested previously. I baked mine for 15 min and let them cool in the pan then on a wire rack. The combo of choc. chips, walnuts and banana was perfect. I will DEFINITELY be making these again!
