Upon first tasting fresh out of the oven I was unimpressed, but I think everyone agreed that the taste improved ten-fold after being in the fridge overnight. My sister recommended less sugar (she said it was not only too sweet, but gritty as well), but I think it's fine the way it is. The bananas came out a little bitter, but I seriously doubt that's the recipe's fault. A nice, unique bread pudding!
