I made 36 cookies. This recipe is excellent! I accidentally added an extra egg and substituted 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup semi-sweet. Delicious!

PERFECT! Just the right balance of chocolatey goodness and sweet coconut. The biggest advantage of the added coconut is the great texture it gives these cookies. And they look as great as they taste! Definitely a keeper- You can't have just one!

This was a very good recipe. I used chocolate/caramel swirl chips, instead of plain chocolate chips. My husband and I really liked these! Thanks!

Ooooooh these are SO good! I've been hunting around for a good chocolate chip cookie recipe that is worth the calories, and this one is it. The coconut adds a lovely, crispy, tender texture. This is going to be my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe from now on. I halved the recipe and it was perfect. I subbed a few tbsps worth of flour with wheat germ because I like the texture of wheat germ in cookies, and it worked fab. Next time I might add a tbsp of flaxseeds, too.

Very very tasty and great consistency. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because I was expecting to taste the coconut more, and I didn't taste it at all except the texture. I will try adding coconut extract next time.

Excellent cookie. I added a cup of chopped pecans and thought it was a nice touch. Now that I've tried them, I think that the butterscotch chips mentioned by other posters would be a nice addition as well.

Really good cookies. I used Smart Balance and they came out perfect (I underdo them slightly). Moist, chewy cookies. I would not say they were really unique, just good chocolate chip cookies with a interesting and delicious touch of coconut.

I had the EXACT SAME issue of flaked coconut in the cupboard that needed to be used. Perfect recipe!

THESE WERE GREAT HOWEVER NEXT TIME I WILL JUST FOLLOW THE RECIPE THAT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED. I DIDN'T CARE FOR USING BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS IN PLACE OF HALF OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS. THEY ARE JUST TOO SWEET FOR ME!

These are awesome - butterscotch chips definitely are a good twist on a great recipe. I tend to make my cookies a little larger, so I had to bake them for 12 minutes.

This is the fisrt recipe I tried, I am not a baker/cooker. Once I saw this I knew I wanted to try it. And WOW my whole family loves it. They can't stop eating the cookies. I changed the butter amount 1/2 butter and 1/4 shortening so they weren't to greasy. My family is begging for more!!! Great and easy!

These were good, but I wasn't wowed. They are much better if you let them cool completely before eating. I used half butterscotch chips based on many of the prior reviews. They do stay soft if stored for a few days.

These cookies are freaking awesome. Adding an additional 1/2 stick of butter and 2 tablespoons of milk makes them super fluffy and chewwwy. They come out rather flat otherwise.

These cookies were great. Similar to traditional chocolate chip cookies, but with a fun flare that makes them irresistible. I've already made 3 batches!
