These were so great that as soon as they came out of the oven , they were pretty much gone!!!! The only change I made was cooked them @400 for 10 mins, then put under the broiler for 5 mins...oh and used 1/2 the amount of cheese.

I didn't measure any of the ingredients, just slabbed on the butter. I love chives and it gave the garlic bread a whole new flavor. Nice recipe Kim and thanks!

Nice flavor. Needed twice the butter spread though. I split a loaf lenghtwise and spread the butter on both halves then sprinkled the parmesan cheese over (I used shredded) and reassambled the halves then baked. The cheese all stuck to one side of the bread along with most of the chive filling. No problem, we just ate the halves together instead of openfaced. I had to use garlic powder instead of fresh. Still this turned out great and everyone enjoyed it.
