Excellent! I had a tenderloin and didn't know what to do with it. Found this one on the iphone app. It didn't take long to prep. 15 min marinade time and on the grill. Delicious, spicy but not too hot. I changed the recipe a little. I substituted 1 of the Tbsp of chili powder with ground cayenne red pepper. Then my wife told me that was enough of that, maybe too much so I only used 2 Tbsp of chili powder and I used 5 Tbsp of brown sugar. A pinch extra onion and garlic powders. Then I basted the pork loins in molasses. It was absolutely delicious! This one is a keeper.

This was pretty good but should warn that even though I LOVE spicy, it was a little too spicy so next time I'll back off the chipotle chili by 1 tablespoon. I felt it needed a little something more so next time I will try using pineapple juice as others have suggested.

I tweaked this to our liking and now it's one of my favorite recipes. I use 'medium'Chili Powder from Penzeys and I also use Ground Chipotle from Penzeys. These are two totally different spices. If you try to use 3 TBS of ground chipotle it would be inedible in my opinion! I use 1 tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder and kosher salt, then 2 TBS Chili Powder (like you'd use for chili!) 2 TBS brown sugar, and 1/4 tsp Ground Chipotle. I rub on the tenderloin and then roast in a 375* oven for 25 minutes, then rest for 10 minutes before slicing. I always serve with Chipotle Mashed Sweet Potatoes, which are just cubed sweet potatoes simmered until tender, 1 TBS of butter and 2 minced chipotle peppers and a generous spoonful of the Adobo sauce from the can whirled with an electric mixer until smooth. Perfect dinner with just enough spicy/smoky/sweet!

I'm sorry but I didn't care for this. I didn't like the flavor of the rub. I won't be making this one again. Still searching for a tenderloin recipe that the kids and I like.

Fantastic! I invited some paprika to the party and cut the tenderloin into 10oz chops then mixed it with a little oil and water. It then marinated for eight hours in the frig then one hour coming to room temp. Cook time was 10 min. on each side in the broiler. Very crispy on the outside and juicy good on the inside!

After buying 4 pork tenderloin roasts I found out that my wife does not like pork tenderloin. We've been able to identify grilling as the one way she does like it and this dry rub gave it a wonderful flavor. I did change it slightly however. Instead of putting the whole tenderloin on the grill I cut it into slices about 1" thick. I first put the spices on and let it sit for a few hours in the fridge. I then grilled the slices for about ten minutes total. The pork was especially tender and juicy and had a wonderful flavor. The only ingredient change was I only had chili powder insteady of chipotle chili powder but it still turned out really well.
