very yummy recipe! tastes just like it was from the restaurant. i rated it a five because i didn't do anything drastic to the recipe. i am confident that if i didn't change it at all it would have still turned out amazing! the only thing i did different was double the rice, used 4 eggs, added peas, doubled the chicken, used 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce. i also added half a tablespoon of sugar in my rice water.

I really liked this recipe. I added some fresh ginger, green onions and red pepper. I used left over chicken tenders. Will definately make this again.

Very tasty! A great way to use up leftover rice and chicken. I did't have sesame oil and substituted peanut oil. Also added some peas and carrots. Great recipe!

Fantastic! In a household of tried and true fried rice fanatics, this always goes down a treat. I like to use white pepper (the people I feed it to won't eat anything that they can see pepper in) and I'll usually scramble the eggs instead of cooking it and then slicing it up... saves a lot of time. It's also fantastic with diced red pepper stirred into it. Happy eating!

This recipe works pretty good. If you're using Chinese soya sauce though, I think 2tbsp is too much. I also added green onions, chopped carrots and green peas. for extra flavour add just a drop of sesame oil

This is a very good recipe. I left out the chicken and added carrots and peas to serve with the Asian Lettuce Wraps from this site. My rice was a little pastey, I know that is my fault and not the recipes. Do make sure your rice is cold before stirfrying.

This is a great recipe for quick and easy chicken fried rice! I had double the amount of rice leftover so I used 4 tbsp of soy sauce alltogether. I stir fried onions, some mixed vegetables and the chicken in 2tbsp of soya sauce for 5 mins before adding in the rice.I also added some hot sauce at this point to give it an extra kick! The entire family enjoyed it. I will definitely make this again! Thanks!

An outstanding fried rice recipe. My wife and I enjoyed making it together and eating it also. The only modifications we made was mixing the chicken with a little bit of soy sauce and a pinch of black pepper before cooking it. Turned out to be as good as most fried rice we’ve got in restaurants. Good job.

Great Fried Rice!!! I didn't need the water and used a lot less white onions only about a tablespoon of minced dried onions and a tablespoon of chopped green onions:)Added a little salt also. I cooked my white rice and stuck it in the freezer to get cold! Make sure it's COLD rice or it will be mush:(

A great way to use left-over chicken. My family loves chinese food, and all of us enjoyed this. I tried a couple of other fried rice recipes on this site, and this one is the best.

We made this as a side dish for Asian orange chicken from this site also (so we omitted the chicken). It was easy, quick and delicious. Thanks for sharing - it is a keeper!

This was really good! I followed the recipe for the most part, but also added some extra stuff that I had... peas, carrots and beans cooked frozen veggies and chopped cooked mushrooms. I also used leftover rotisserie chicken for the chicken. We really liked this! It was very good. I did enjoy the extra veggies because it was a good, easy way to get those into our meal!

Followed the recipe to the tee and it is very bland. It is pretty much just chicken and rice. Def won't make again.

Simply some of the best tasting fried rice! Two things you MUST do in order for it to work...use sesame oil and definitely use the rice cold. I cheat and throw it in the freezer! Also can chop up pork as well.

I made alot of changes to this.... I omitted the chicken to make it vegetarian, used short-grain brown rice, a mixture of sesame oil and olive oil instead of butter and veg. oil, 1 tbs. soy sauce and 1 tbs. teriyaki. I also added pinches of minced ginger and red pepper flakes. I cooked the egg with a bit of salt. I also added 1/2 cup peas and 2 tbs. peanuts. I would add other veggies like carrots, broccoli, or bell peppers if I had them. It tasted pretty close to restaurant style.
