This recipe was great with alterations. I added peas, chicken marinated in teriyaki souce and a chinese stir fry rice seasoning packet. Made a great meal with eggrolls.

I make this all the time! Very easy which is perfect for a week night dinner. I do add some steamed broccoli or other green veggie. The cold rice is the key to this recipe, it really keeps it's form and texture! Thanks!

There was way too much pepper. I used half the dose and it was still a bit too much. Overall it was really yummy.

Didn't have as much taste as I would have expected for Chicken Fried Rice. The recipe turned out just fine, but I think I'll look for another to try next time I'm in the mood for Chinese.

This was super-easy and very tasty. The kids loved it, my 3 year old even asked for and finished a second helping! I will definitely be making this again.

This was very good! I followed the recipe exactly, usually I look at the reviews, but I was in such a hungry hurry that I didn't. WAY TOO MUCH PEPPER. It was delicious despite this, but I would probably cut it in half next time. Definitely will try it again!

This was delicious! I had some leftover roast chicken (the white meat) so I decided to try this recipe. My boyfriend and I loved it. The only things I changed were to add some chopped spinach when frying the onions (and I added some garlic, just one clove, while frying the onions too). I also threw in a few frozen peas after the spinach had wilted. So quick and easy and really tasty. Perfect for busy nights or when you have leftover chicken. (Although I'd add the spinach and peas or else it's not too high on nutrients, got to get your Five-A-Day, after all)

I make this all the time! I love it, and it's very simple. While I normally use chicken, I used shrimp today instead. And it was lovely. :)

My family really enjoyed this. I let the chicken marinade in the soy sauce while I got everything together, I also added 1/2 Tbspl of sesame oil while stir frying for extra flavor as well as a teaspoon of crushed garlic and a 1/2 red bell pepper (I cooked these with the onion). Next time I would add another egg.

I made this for dinner last night, and my husband and I both loved it. I used brown rice and cooked it in chicken broth to give it more flavor. I also added about a cup of cooked frozen peas for more color and nutrition. I did not add the pepper the recipe called for, simply because I don't care for pepper all that much. I just ground a dash of fresh pepper over top just before serving. We will have this one often.

I found this dish to be as delicious as when I order it out! I won't be ordering out again. It was simple and had a great taste. I added green peas and a little more soy sauce than it called for. Great recipe!

My husband turned his nose up at this one. He commented that he'd never seen a fried rice cooked with pepper before. Although he didn't care for it, I liked it okay. I reduced the pepper in half but should have reduced it even further. I added a dash of red pepper and red pepper flakes which added a nice kick. Instead of butter I used pam. Instead of vegetable oil I used sesame oil. I recommend adding peas. It's a nice burst of texture and color.
