Chilled Strawberry Cream
SUBMITTED BY:
Ann Main
"Made with only three ingredients, this cool refreshing dessert goes together in a jiffy, yet it's pretty enough to serve for a special occasion. Ann Main of Moorefield, Ontario shared the yummy treat for two."

I made this for my parents and my boyfriend, they all loved it! I used granulated sugar instead of the confectioners' sugar. I also let my strawberries thaw a bit before blending. Reminds me of a strawberry smoothie but slightly creamier.I put mine in the fridge to chill,I think ill try the freezer next time..wasnt very cold after 25 mins.Very simple and very good!! Will definatley make again!!

It was absolutely delicious! I used heavy whipping cream because it was what I had on hand, but it was wonderful. I think I would perhaps use granulated sugar instead of confectioner's. I shaved some lime chocolate on the top and sprinkled a pinch of confectioner's sugar. Aside from an extremely difficult blender, it was really easy to make, and it tasted absolutely amazing. I made it for dessert for my boyfriend for Valentine's day and we both loved it, from the first taste to the last spoonful. I may try to remember next time to set aside a little bit of the cream after I whip it and use that to make a pretty garnish, with shaved chocolate on top of that. I WILL be making it again, probably very frequently.

Delicious, simple, and quick. I used a 12-oz bag of berries and half a cup of granulated sugar. I had to blend the berries a few at a time with a splash of milk, so next time I'll let them thaw slightly before belnding and see what happens. Everyone loved it. Thanks!
